pokemon scarlet and violet base set chase cards | like appearances and gain new strengths Scarlet & Violet Booster Box

figuring out how to be powerful while still expressing self-restraint is a far more interesting problem

Letting your opponent choose which of their spells you swipe can work against you, but it often works out because Azula is in blue, which means plentiful access to flicker effects like Thassa, Deep-Dwelling and Displacer Kitten

Infect will put a -1/-1 counter on a creature instead of dealing regular damage to it, and doing so will give you 1/1 token creatures that have deathtouch

Though this is less of a problem for certain water pokemon in the TCG because they get exponentially more powerful as they gain energy as opposed to most pokemon who only get additively stronger

They cant be unmelded, and will attack, block, and otherwise act as if they are a single creature
